head gasket
Re: head gasket
The bad news is that the paper is in one of three crates with thousands of technical letters from the factory about the Fulvia. The crates are in a treasure cove on the banks of the Hudson river and James is not getting near to it for some time.
The good news is that he will send me the crates with all documents for scanning and putting them on a CD. The documents are all bilingual, Italian and English.

Yes, let me confirm that I will dig all of this out for scanning. The technical letters are different than the technical sketches or repair manual information, they were hastilly dashed-off by Lancia on an almost daily basis about single issues discovered with specific models, --or anything else, and then sent directly to dealers in single regular-mail envelopes. One mis-print in one reprinting of one owner's manual would qualify as such an issue, for example. Some of them are so absurd that you can see why most were just thrown away.
Anyway the documents from the US Lancia importer in this period are in several very large boxes. The earlier Aurelia and Appia stuff is now well-organized. But the Flavia, Fulvia, Flaminia stuff is all mixed together, as one would expect, and numbers in the many 1000s of pages.
But I have agreed to gather the Fulvia-related material as a peace offering to Huib, whom I respect greatly. Carlos you may be a good guy too, who knows. Good old Katzman has never been suspect.
