That's right Gustaf; we corresponded when I was at Evolution engineering I recall and you sent me some pictures.
Perhaps someone stole the special carburettors!

Re: norway
Maybe, but then it must have happened between 1971 and 1973 because that is the only period of the cars life I haven´t full check on. It can also be that the first owner didn´'t like the performance with the 45ers and put 42ers on to improve driveability. I talk to him now and then, and he have told me about some changes that was made to the car durig its 1st competition year, but he never mentioned any carb-swap. It can also be that the 45ers really was for competition purpuse only and was only avaliable for factory cars. Does anyone know?

Re: norway
I just read Carlo Stellas thread carefully and realize that my car is really equipped with DDHF 45. I always thought that the stamped 5er on the carbs was a fake conversion of the DDHF 42. But Carlo claims this is a correct factory conversion.

Re: norway
Congratulations, Gustaf!! I confirm that the only other 45mm's that I have had in my hands had a casted 4 and a hammered in 5. Making it 45....

Re: Variante 1016
I wish to make an addition to the holy script of Carlo concerning the Cilinderhead stamping for the non 1600 HF heads. As the proud owner of a 1200HF I can say that the cilinderhead for this engine is the same cast as the later 1300 ralley, i.e.818.140. The difference is the manufacturing date which is stamped on all Fulvia heads forward left of the exhaustmanifold. In my case it says 22-1-66 which is to early for the 1300 ralley and is therefore a 1200HF head. There is no stamping near the ignition distributor as is on the 1300HF and 1600 heads as discribed by carlo.
