Fulvia color

Unread post by Marios »

Hello and happy new year to everybody!

The restoration of my fulvia coupe 2 serie (1972) has come now to the painting point. I want to paint it lancia blu, but unfortunately my painter doesn't work with Lechler or Max Mayer but with Spies Hecker. Does anybody know the code of lancia blu for Spies Hecker colors?

Thanks,
Marios
Neil

Try this link:

www.shcolor.info - it is the Spies Hecker website. There seems to be many blues listed. What colours did lancia offer in 1972? Do you know the lancia codes. I could do with these as well as my car is soon to be re-sprayed and it is dark blue (Lancia Blue ??, or Jamaica Blue??). Not really done any research into it yet so if you can help it would be appreciated.

A paint supplier I used in London had every conceivable colour listed - even the Amaranto Montebello and Azzurro HF that I used on my Fulvia (together with Giallo Ginestra of course).

Paul,
Did Lancia use Giallo Ginestra on the Fulvia? I thought it was a much later colour! Having said that, it was the colour I used when I repainted my S2 Zagato, and it looked fantastic!

Not as far as I know - I used it for the stripes and the back panel!

The Giallo used on the firts series HF 12, 13 and firts batch of Fanalones is not Giallo Ginestra but Giallo Torino HF. As is the blue 'azzuro torino HF'. These colors were only used for the stripes running over the bodywork of Amaranto montebello painted HFs and not for complete cars. I might be able to get a color number for them if there is a demand.
