hi, this seems to be the newest way FIAT captures the european car market in the near future:
1. if you are under 30 and you love the "korean-style" buy FIAT
2. if you are under 40 and you love the "italien sporty mainstream" buy ALFA
3. if you are over 40 and you love the "individual distinctive sporty italien classic-future car" buy LANCIA
... but: there will be no such LANCIA at all in the future. so what should we buy?
at least no FIAT product at all. this is the message we hear from torino today!

I interpreted "stupid white men" to be a clumsy equivalent for "vapid bean-counting suits" which is the way I would have put it. Say what you will about black people but, so far, they haven't been allowed into the positions in which they can crush the life and soul out of an endeavor such as a small market automobile. Of course they also haven't been allowed into the positions in which they can create such wonderful things either. I've often noted the nearly total lack of black faces in the vintage photos of automotive events even here in the States. It's quite striking.
I figure we white folks can withstand a few spurious whacks now and then, since we really haven't suffered many.
