series 3 fulvia starter motor wires

could anybody please supply me with a digital photo showing where exactly the starter motor wires go onto the starter motor as i have had mine reconditioned and do not know where each wire goes

By "starter motor wires" I presume that you mean all the cables that normally connect to the starter motor?

Well, it's very straightforward. You have the large black cable form the +ve terminal of the battery; you have a couple of 6mm red wires with 8mm ring connectors - one from the alternator and the other to supply the rest of the car and finally another ring connector that feeds the in-line fuse carrier for the cooling fan. This leaves just one more; a red cable with a female connector of the "Lucar" pattern that plugs opnto the matching spade terminal between the two studs on the solenoid; this comes fromt he starter switch.
