2000 HF and air conditioning

I must go to see a 2000 HF on which it has been mounted a air conditioning (?!). I don't succeed in knowing if it were an option or if it is a assembly after-market lawful or... illicit; -)

Some opinion ?

air con was definitely available on berlinas but I don't know about coupés
