What does anyone think about the practicalities of using a Flavia/2000 as an everyday car in the UK?

I have used my Flavia 2000 Coupe for 3 years every day, before getting a second car. That was in the eighties, with a car that had 130'000 km.

There is absolutely no problem and you will enjoy it if:
1. The car is in a very good mechanical condition
2. You drive it for distances of more than 50 km per day, and preferably not in city traffic.
3. You let it warm up correctly
4. You have all the maintenance done at the required intervals (by a good Flavia specialist)

I drove my car 70'000 km, with absolutely no problem or breakdown.

If you drive it only short distances, it will go through an awful lot of exhausts, through corrosion, and tuning the engine will need to be more frequent.

Only by using a Flavia every day and on long distances will you realise what a superb car it is!

There should be no problem provided you keep ahead of the servicing and make sure they're kept in tip-top order.
