1918 Lancia Kappa tourer at secondhanddealership

Unread post by Jorn van Beckhoven »

This afternoon i was surfing the net at some regular dutch cardealers when to my surprise one a american cardealer had a 1918 Lancia Kappa Tourer for sale at first i thought it would be a mistake but when the pic came up i saw it it was indeed a Lancia Tourer.

So there must be someone around who would be interested in this fabulous automobile. Of course no price is stated so who knows what he is asking

Anyway look at it on www.rietveld-usa.nl then choose ford models on the left and scroll a bit down.

Anyway someone must be able to be happy with it if i had an empty garage i would have bought it, if i had the money. But no money and already a Fulvia in my garage.

Just look at it i have never seen one before

Has anyone actually seen this car at the dealer? I wonder if it is anything like Jan Voboril's Kappa that he drove from California to New York.

Hi,

I know this Kappa for almost forty years, it has been in the Rietveld family for even longer than this period. It is an original open tourer, restored some 15 years ago. Quite an original car but they usually ask so much that nobody ever wants to buy it.
