Engine Belt

I think there is a milage (km) and time frame for changing the belt.

For 2,4 and 3,0 Kappas it is 105000km or 5 years.

When you take care of that you will be on the safe side.
The problem with the high costs is that - as far as i know - only Lancia can do that because
of specific tools needed and the high work costs there.

My non brand repairshop says work would be only 5 hours with them (for the 3,0) plus parts
- but the they can not do it.

5 Years ago my belt slipped and it did a lot of damage to my 2,4 coupe - costs overall 2500 Euros
done by Lancia.
Lucky my used car insurance covered near all the costs.
