2,4TDS air mass flowmeter

Hi forum,

I have a 2,4tds berlina, and yesterday i found it strange (without power) when i tried to overtake another car running about 80 kph.

I decided to stop and investigate the engine bay. After some time spent trying all plugs, i decided to unplug the debimeter (bosch 0281002085) and go for the road.
The car is now O.K.!..., and everytime i connect the plug the car loses power (no turbo) only after about 60 kph.

Any explanation for that?
Fault debimeter? Can we obtain it for a reasonable price?

Try to replace it, driving without debimeter could cause some problems in future

I've replaced the same thing in my kappa 2 litre 16 valves . Unfortunately, this is a bosch made spare and the original part number has been replaced by another one. You should contact bosch and they will send you one for approx 300 euros but you have to return the faulty one back.
