Lancia questionnaire

Unread post by John Petrie »

Hi

I am undertaking some academic research on the return of Lancia to the UK market. I need feedback to support my work and hope readers can assist this by completing the short questionnaire attached. It is mainly aimed at UK car buyers but I am more than happy for anyone to take part - please use the final box to say where you are from if not the UK.

All help greatly appreciated.

Hi

Sorry, looks like the automatic link isn't working! The questionniare can still be accessed if you copy/paste the link to a new internet window.

Will try and resolve this asap

Thanks for reading

Ok, this link should now take you right there.

Open Lancia Questionnaire

Hopefully Lancia's return to the UK is more successful than my attempts to get a questionnaire sorted out!

You want to post this on the LMC UK website as well.

www.lanciamotorclub.co.uk

You may get a better response.

I guess it would make sense posting it on other Italian brands' similar websites too...e.g. Fiat, Alfa etc owners, and why not other 'foreign' brands too. I guess you had thought of that already.

Hi

Thanks guys, yes I will also post on Alfa and Fiat sites. Already had a few replies from people I work with - much as expected, some people saying "Italian cars - unreliable, not worth the money etc", some younger people (not into cars) not actually knowing Lancia is a car! Thankfully others more enlightened, with one lady saying "oh yes, we used to have a Lancia" She was passing it to her husband, a retired engineer (surely a Lancia fan then!).

cheers

well, today's Lancias are thankfully of a different caliber in terms of reliability; my 2000 Lybra SW now has 100k miles on it and has never let me down. Only problems, and this just very recent, was a repair on driver's side electric window lifting mechanism, and a couple of years ago a switch for the front passenger side heated seat switch. Show me even a Lexus or BMW which is much better...(not that our Fiat Punto is much worse...apart for a few squeaks in the suspension which are unnerving!). Will be coming to the UK in my Lybra next month. It was getting quite a few stares last year when I was there with it...
