Hello,
Could someone please give a picture how the original horns are installed in Flavia S2? I didn't get the original horns, so I'm about to fit an old set of FIAMM 3000 trumpets to look as original as possible. For some reason all Flavia horns in Ebay are sold as Ferrari/Maserati-parts, with a hefty buy it now-price...
Another picture about the wirings in the engine room would help too. I have little idea how they have been routed originally. Especially the wiring and cabling to starter and temperature and oil pressure senders. Does the main cable to starter go through the support of air cleaner and clutch cable?
Best regards,
-Miika

Hi,
Here some pictures from my Flavia Milleotto (Sedan S2).
If you need more pictures or if you want pictures in higher resolution let me know with your mail address at : pierre_vallade@hotmail.com.
I will try to have a better picture of the horns.
Of course the horn pipes of my car are not the genuine ones ... I hope to find more suitable soon.
Regards,
Pierre

Re: Horns and wiring in Flavia S2
Thank you very much Pierre! Your pictures confirmed what I thought earlier about the wiring.
Cars this old have much changed by previous owners, but now I believe, that the horn compressor is installed in the wheel arch, like in your picture, and the trumpets on the front beam. Parts book gives an idea about the brackets. I've yet to find another compressor, because my set is for 24V...

Hi,
You are right, horn is in the left wheel arch. Attached an other picture showing the environment. (In red color ... my lamp for the picture, not a Flavia part).
The other pictures are the horns from a Flaminia. They are probably the same ones, in any case they look like.

The two hornes in your pictures for sure are used on Flavia 1 series, I don't know if also for Flaminia.

Re: Horns and wiring in Flavia S2
Hubert,
The horns of my picure come from my Flaminia Touring, Il removed and replaced them by two other coming from a Pininfarina coupé "trumpet" shape as yours (better sound and much more powerfull). Buf of course as I am not the first owner of the two cars, I don't know which are the right one.
Looking at the parts book, "trumpet" seem to be the right ones.

Re: Horns and wiring in Flavia S2
Thank you for the additional pictures. The FIAMM 3000-series horns are "trumpet" type, which is not entirely correct for my car's serial number, but will do the job for now. In the beginning, to get the car registered, I'll use a cheap chinese compressor, so later it may be, that I'll get correct horns too.
