My name is Keith Walker and I am searching for a Lancia Thema Turbo 5-speed manual transmission with the viscodrive unit attached.
I live in the USA
If anyone has information as to who could ship a unit to the USA, it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Keith,
I am not sure what you want the Viscodrive-equipped transmission for, but since you live in the US, I suspect you may want it for an Alfa Romeo 164. If my assumption is correct, you might look for parts from a Thema 3.0 V6 instead. The Thema 3.0 engine is adopted from the Alfa and therefore has the same right intermediate driveshaft as the Alfa does. The correct right intermediate driveshaft is necessary for the Viscodrive to work. I have recently seen a few Thema 3.0 being sold or parted out on Ebay.de.
Some Dedra, Nuova Delta, and Kappa also had Viscodrive and as far as I know all used the same C.503 transmission as the Thema/164 except late Kappas.
I also live in the US and just retrofitted a Viscodrive setup on my 164 using all new parts. It works great.

I believe the Thema V6 always used the PRV engine rather than the Alfa.
