does anyone know how to get a starter motor of a v6 the third bolt will not come off beacause it is in such a difficult area no room to get a spanner in it

Hello Steve,
Seeing as how no one else has responded. I have never worked on a V6 Thema but the 4 cylinder ones are just as bad. It is really a case of finding a small 13mm socket (3/8 inch drive) and a suitable length extension. One of those ratchet-less handles would be best so as to avoid loss of movement when turning the handle and skinning your knuckles on the drive shaft and exhaust.

Hopefully you have got the starter off by now. Of course getting it back on is worse - try to get that bolt in first by putting in the starter frame then stuffing the starter in place.
