Hi Kassus,
I've been dealing with Eibach through their England office.
They have a kit for Themas which retails for 120 pounds,
(about 180 Euros), this lowers the car by about 30mm in
front, and 30-35mm at the rear. I'll try and get more info on
specification and let you know. Do you anticipate any problem
passing the ITV with the new set-up?

OK seems like a reasonable excuse.
Now then, about your coupe... All the photos I have seen are of the front. In VL you mentioned similarity between your car and Fulvia 4. Where can I see photos of the rear of your Fulvia?
Sadly I will not be at Goodwood to see it live (is that lyve or liv?).

i have a flashing light on my check panel too.I just stuck a bit of black insulating tape over the flashing warning light....

I might try the fuse cleaning thing though and see how that does.

Zephyrus,

That is an excellent, lateral-thinking solution - and also very funny.

Full marks from me!

DJ,

You're a genius! This action has solved the exact same problem that I had! Front left and rear right light were illuminating on the check panel of my S2. The handbook stated that if this fault occurs then the fuse has blown, but since the lights still worked I (logically!) did not bother to check the fuse, putting the fault down to 'good old Lancia electrics'.

When I read your advice I went straight out to the car, pulled the fuses, turned then round, put then back and presto! fault cleared. I owe you one as this was beginning to annoy me! This must rate as the simplest fault rectification ever - with the exception of when my electric seat motors were not working; the advice? - hit it with a hammer - instant cure. Ah! the trusty Russian screwdriver.

One small related quirk was that when the lights did come on, the red 'Check' light (or master alarm?) would flash while the lights on the car layout display would be on constantly. At random intervals this would swap with the lights on the display flashing while the red 'Check' staying on constantly - bizarre - but Lancia!

Mark

Kassus,

The two headlight fuses in the main fuse box (in a RHD it's under the glove box on the left hand side - in the LHD I believe it's on the left of the Steering column?) and also the side light fuses for good measure!

Just pull them out, check that they are intact, clean the fuse if there is any corrosion on them or replace with new. As mine were not visually corroded, just turning them over and refitting must have been enough to improve the connection. I hope it works for you.

Regards,

Mark
