Hello chaps, hope someone can clear this up.....
All the warning lights on the engine diagnostics gauge in my 8.32 come on when I turn the ignition key to start. They all go out after a couple of seconds, except the injection warning indicator.
However, when I start the engine, this light also goes out, and the 'Everything OK' indicator between the speedo and tach flashes green, as it should.
The car runs beautifully, and the light NEVER comes on when the engine is running.
Any ideas?
Many thanks,
Richard
8.32 injection warning light
Re: 8.32 injection warning light
Hello Richard,
Its probably worth pointing out that the "Injection Warning" lamp is controlled by the engine amangement system (ECU) whereas the "Everything OK" lamp is controlled by a seperate unit that simply checks things like the doors being closed and the fluid levels are OK. If the management lamp comes on it indicates a faulty sensor or associated parts of the ignition/injection.
Hope the lamp keeps going off!
Leo
