hey.
in my lancia thema v6 1990 the battery warning light is red at about every 2nd start, and it doesnt go off until i turn the engine off and start the engine again.
why is this? the battery is ok.
and btw, the electronic adjustment of the drivers seat doesnt work for moving the seat closer/farer from the driving wheel. is it possible to change seat position manually?
battery warning light / seat adjustment
Re: battery warning light / seat adjustment
If you look at the older topics you will find a number of possible cures for the battery light fault. The seat motors have a seperate fuse and the switches should be changed first before looking at the motors themselves. There is no standard manual adjustment override, unless you mean removing the motors and turning the drive cog by hand(not recommended)
Re: battery warning light / seat adjustment
I had the same problem with my 1992 Thema V6 S2 some time ago. Sometimes, the alternator warning light was on after starting the car. After re-starting, it went off. Some weeks later, alternator warning light and oil pressure warning light were on.
My garage told me that both problems were caused by the oil pressure sensor.
