Hi--
No, the factory collection still exists. It was moved into the old Lancia factory complex, a less attactive location but one which provides room for almost the entire collection. If you have a look at this month's OCTANE magazine, you will see a feature article on the collection.
Thus let me repeat my question: The Octane writers with only a casual interest in Lancia get a private tour of the factory collection, while 800 enthusiasts in Torino for an entire week in celebration for the 100th anniversary of the marque are not offered a tour?
I am sure that there is some "logical" reason for this, but it escapes me at the moment...
Lancia's centenary celebrations
Re: Lancia's centenary celebrations
I would guess that 800 peolple is more than thee can cope with it is after all not really a public museum just a collection, I don't know the current state of affairs but a few years ago i was able to visit the museum in a party of two and we were personally escorted around the collection by Mr Masala including getting some interesting insights into the lancia of old from him and a lift back to our hotel!!! To visit at that time you needed to write and ask in advance presumably the same applies today
Re: Lancia's centenary celebrations
Hi James,
Would you care to spill the beans as to where this Lancia museum is please, or any website where one could pay a virtual visit perhaps?

Re: Lancia's centenary celebrations
... just as an aside, I know that Robert Coucher, editor of Octane, is a Lancia fan and until recently ran an S1 Fulvia Coupe with pride!
