Nice work. I've used the original size so no need of cutting. Than I can send you modified skin for centrafuse, were I have 8 main buttons for apps (the original has only 6). I've also modified the font to be one third smaller, because the all windows I have one third bigger. Than I see your computer is quite big, I'm not quite sure there's enough space in thesis for it, I've taken all plastic parts away and put there only the motherboard under the climatization unit above the airbag control unit. Than not to forget, I can also provide you a scheme of two relays and two resistors for switching the screen as the original one, also with dark button function without any need of connecting any of these buttons. It took me about 2 days solving it because thesis is too clever and when you only connect the relay without any resistor, than the relay cause a short circuit and connect thought there's some problem so the ventilator in it is going all the time, what causes battery drain.

Thanks, I will put the computer where the cd changer is now. The computer fits there. I don't know whether I stay with Centrafuse because it's quite expensive. I will fit an on/off switch for the screen on the front panel. Thanks for your suggestion for the scema of the dark button. I will ask details when I need them.
Do you have a solution for connecting the audio to the connect? I use the cd-changer input where I have a switch between IPod and cd-changer. It would be nice to have a decent connection to the audio.

It's strange, but I bought a 7 inch screen, just the same as in the Thesis, but it's a bit bigger than the Thesis screen!

The connection for dark button function is connected with the on/off function, so in mine the screen is turning automatically on and off as the original one. If you are not about to have the newest centrafuse, I have a cracked version of 3.5, but using the newest 4.4.5 as I've bought the license. To be honest the biggest user difference is the market but you can install apps also without the market by downloading it from their official site. I'm using all the same cd changer input but with one difference. I don't have any switch there. It's very simple, the original sound from the cd changer is connected to my computer input so if I want to hear the cd from the changer, just simply allow to hear the audio input on pc :)

I ordered the EGA to VGA converter today. I also downloaded the cracked Centrafuse and bought a switch for the VGA connections which operates with a little button that I can connect to the esc button. I will continue building the solution as the parts come in.

Today the EGA to VGA converter arrived. It even came with connection cables! I also found the explanation of the plug of the screen in the manual. This is the picture:

I have also the picture (made by myself) explaining the other side of the connector. Can make a photo if you like.

Dear Vlad and Lancia Thema NL

may i ask if ist possible to buy a EGA to VGA converter fitted on a Thesis Video Cable (the Black one) from you?

Other way would be to send a Frontplate and a 7" TFT + the Thesis Videocable to you and ask you to do the Fitting including the Black out Button Vlad mentioned?

Maybe you can tell us a Prize for example:

Option 1 - Price XY Converter fitted to Videocable incl. converter and cable

Option 2 - Price XY for built in a given Frontplate incl. Screen, converter and Video Cable (send to you) + Dark-Button

I would really like to honour your experience and to win from your knowledge doing it.... not to have to do it alone with more potential risks (i allready destroyed some parts during my investigations to implement a Screen... 2 Original Frontplates lying around without a working Screen left :-) and I would like to order 2-3 Items if you offer. I´m pretty shure, I´m not the only one interessting in buying ...

Greetings and Kind regards

@Vlad47; the connections behind the black connector from the manual differ from the pictures from your friend. I'm a bit confused now. Eg the line marked Rosso in the manual is number 4 and here your friend doesn't mark this connection but has the horizontal synchronisation next to it. Somewhere there is a mistake. Is the manual wrong?

@Loreno aka Itaka: when I finish my project and with succes, I will make a description with pictures so everyone can repeat the proces. The converter is sold on Ebay and costs around 30 euro. You can order the item. Just enter "Ega to VGA" in the search box. It's a common item sold all over the world.
