Was ist denn aus dem Gamma meeting Anfang Oktober geworden, welches im Forum auch einmal angekündigt wurde ? Gibt es da schöne Bilder ?

Unsere geplannte Gamma Treff - DE/FR ist - quaisi ins letze-minute zu ein kleine "in memory of Memorial-Meeting" geworden, da wir (Gammisti) wollten unsere Trauer mildern & Adios-Amigo sagen..da wir habe unsere lieber Gamma Freunde "RH" (AT/CH) verloren.

No Lancia photos were taken.

I hope my Deutsch-Text is OK.

Als ersatz-Gamma (u.a.) ist Hockenheim 2014 geplannt.

recently a Lancisti told me, via PM:

"just getting to Speyer/Hockenheim will be an exciting challenge, never to forget that "the route is the promise"
or perhaps it is more accurate
"the route is the goal"
or maybe -aha -yes, this is it:

"the route is the purpose"

spoken in a language that I have a hard time understanding, not to mention trying to translate...

he (they) are (were) referring to the fun they plan to have on their way to the Spring Meeting, seeing places & things that they always wanted to see...but never did before; perhaps meeting up with old Lancia friends, persons they actually know or only know of; persons who will or will not come to Hockenheim; to adventerous eating, foto-shooting, drinking (in moderation; making this trip be a sort of "this is what life is all about" panorama

life is a route toward a goal with a purpose, which they (we) may or may not understand, but should travel anyway.

strangely, last night a Greek Friend who lives in Heidelberg told me just about the same thing, in Greek!!!; he then translated it to English for me; phew !!!

In any case, plan to make your travels to Speyer / Hockenheim "a route with a purpose" & don't break-down (nor your Lancia) on the way to or from this Meeting

The correct translation is: "Der Weg ist das Ziel"

Hallo,
ich hätte da einen Hotel Tipp für euer Gamma Treffen.
Das 70er Jahre Parkhotel in Michelbach ( Odenwald ca 60 Km von Hockenheim )

ich habe zwar keinen Gamma und auch sonst keinen 70er Jahre Klassiker aber das Hotel ist top und sie Straßen im Odenwald einen Ausflug wert.
