remote for central locking
i have a 1993 1.6 dedra it is fitted with remote cental locking but the remote only locks the car .lancia want approx£80 for a replacment i have contacted someone in italy who sells a relay that just plugs into the cental locking relay and the remote supplied locks and unlocks the car all for half the price, my problem he only takes payment by TT ? ive know idea what this is is it like me paying money straight into a bank in italy from the uk.any help please thanks

The best way is to get Euros and send by post with Royal Mail "International Signed For" it will cost about £4.68 if you pay extra to cover more than £30. although you can't track it, if you have any doubts that it has arrived, ring the number on your receipt and they can check with the computer where it is.
One point to bear in mind is to keep proof of purchase of the euros as if it does get lost and you claim compensation they will want to see it.
I send a lot to Europe this way to pay for items off of eBay as the bank charges to send money from UK are ridiculous. They have only lost one payment so far which came bacxk to me as the German postman forgot to tell the person it was addressed to that it was their for him to sign for and after 7 days they sent it back!!!
