Hi Gary,
Why not have your old one re-cored? had to do this recently with my Dedra Auto, cost less than £100 and would be worth doing rather than trying an old rad which is going to be 9-10 years old.

thanks for your message. In the end I found a supplier called Southern Auto Panels in the Weybridge area who were able to supply a brand new rad made by Valeo for only £108 inc vat. Considering the Fiat cost this was a bargain. A few snapped then drilled out mounting bolts later and all was fitted and has been well for a month or so now.
