The throttle pedal on my S1 Zagato is not operating very smoothly and on inspection I discovered that the rollers on the end of the rod that fits behind the pedal are missing. This probably occurred when the new foot-well was welded in. I guess these are impossible to find, but maybe somebody can give an idea of their dimensions and what material to use.

I am assembling a 66 coupe and found those missing this morning. Just grabbed 2 from a donor car.
Inner dia = 6mm
Outer dia = 21 mm
Thickness in the center = 10 mm
Thickness on outerdiameter = 6.5 mm
One side is flat. On the other side it tapers from the 10 to the 6.5 mm
The material is rubber. In case I have no donor cars around I use a nylon bush 6x10x10 and stack 3 nylon washers 10x20x2 on that bush using Loctite instant glue. The bush protrudes 1mm one side of the 3 stacked washers and 3 mm on the other side.

My problem was that although I still had the rollers they were very sticky, so I decided to replace them,but instead of plastic or nylon rollers I used small roller bearings, 10 years on they still work fine.

As best as I can recall they were a straight swop for the plastic ones, although I didn't fit them in myself, next time I have her out, (New Yesars Day) I'll try to remember to have a look and take a couple of photos.
