Lancia Dedra 2000 turbo engine

Is this the same engine as the Delta Integrale 8v? If not, what other cars share the engine then?

Hello Michael,

I have heard it said that the two engines are the same. I'm not 100% sure but going by the fact the power outputs of the two cars are quoted as being the same, 163bhp, then I would have thought they are identical.

Are you in need of a new engine??

No, I don't even own one, but I am really thinking about getting me one. The reason I was asking is if I would have it chip tuned, then it's nice to know if the two engines are the same.

Well I've had mine for 3.25 years and apart from servicing,cam/balance belts, pads, front exhaust pipe it's been absolutely great. I use it every day and although I don't thrash it I certainly don't pamper it. Bought it with 103k miles and now on 138k.

Great cars and a bit of a surprise to other road users when you fly past them!!
