Lancia Dedra 1600 1994

I am experiencing engine running difficulty problems , similar symptoms described elswhere in the forum.

Two queries
1) Does any know where I could find a manual ( workshop + electrics) for my car

2) THe car seems to suffer from typical " carburettor" flooding symptoms when I I turn on any electric circuit ( mostly fan +headlights). The car will start to jerk when attempting to accelerate. The problem would improve but not go away completely if I ease off the accelerator and drive at very low rpm's. Eventually the problem would seem to go away. If I accelerate when the symptoms appear the car would dramatically loose power , the engine would run very erratic, with a smell from the catalytic converter (I think) . Persisting to accelerate the engine would eventually cut out and not start again very soon.

During this erratic running when releasing the accelerator completely , the car would return to almost perfect idling.

Can anyone help ?

If you contact the Lancia motor Club (England) the librarian has a copy which they can photocopy at a price. You can buy the Electrical section seperately.

The engine and suspension are identical to a fiat tempra 1600
