Re: Aldo Broverone's Opinion on Fulvia Sport
are the wishbones supplied as a kit? you can determine camber by length of tubing? the finished wishbones look very good.
i have a question regarding assembling the ball joints into the wishbone, are the three studs strong enough to pull the joint into position? i know it is probably best to remove the wishbone and press them in but if one is to change the joints while the arms are on the car can this be done?
disregard the question of using the studs to pull in the ball joint. i have removed the lower wishbone now and will use a press to install the new ones.
do you have a picture of the new ball joints before installation?

No, i have prepared the old one.Means cut the tubes and seperate the single parts. Sent this to the supplier
and get it back welded. It´s not possible to do this without a device/rig.
The painting i do by my self.

I don´t think so. I would not suggested to do that. Also for the assembling you need a lot of force without
the risk of cant the ball joint.

Sorry but i don´t. The ball joints are standard parts as you can buy. What is your question behind that.
For the new one i use a parallel vice ( big old one from my grandfather ) with tubes ( diameter and lenght must be fit )
regards Andreas

Re: Aldo Broverone's Opinion on Fulvia Sport
thank you for the kind reply,
i only ask because i am working on this area of my car right now. i have the lower wishbone removed, and am replacing both ball joints. i was waiting for new parts to arrive to help me see exactly how the assembly is put together. i will do as you do and use tubes to push the new parts into place.
is the benefit of the altered steering geometry for track use, or is there benefit for street car as well?
regards,
brian

concerning 'my threats' (ha ha) sorry to visit you, oops...I meant to write "my promises" to visit you during the 'on going Fulvia project' - this time there is a real plan to visit you .....not just a loose-versprechung that "someday when I am near Köln & have time on my hands usw...."; I (we) really do plan to visit in Sep;
As my own Boss (don't tell that to the ladies who work here) I've just approved my Urlaubs-Antrag request for an extra-12 hours on my 1st Holiday in a long time.... in order for us (2) to visit you !!
My Holiday is a Lancia (wat els?) Jaunt to Stop 1 - in Koeln - in a fine Lancia Gamma while targeting Kerkrade, NL as stop 2; then on to Calais, Fr / Dover & Buckinham, UK ... for the UK Yearly Gamma Meeting (other Lance welcome...see Lancia Gamma Forum for details.
We plan to "Cruise, not to Hetz" on this entire trip, in grand style !
Andreas....will PM 12 Sep fit your time-plan ?
Unfortunately we can't go(again) to a Gamma Meeting in a FSZ, or we'd do it; aftert all we've gone to Fulvia Meets in out Gamma (& survived !).
