Unread post by zzarchi »

Hello,
i am searching the complete history of my car. It comes from the USA after being imported there from Europe.
I've got the old registration document.

Hi, If you want answers, perhaps start telling what car you have...

Hello,
You're right. (tu)
It's a LANCIA AURELIA B20 1954
I've got all the information of car caracteristics from the REGISTRO AURELIA but nothing about "his life".
bye ;)

You may wish to try the Fiat Histroical Record through the corporate office. Here in the USA I contacted the Fiat USA headquarters and they refered me to the Historical department. I was seeking build information on my Appia 3rd series. Fiat took over the records after they purchased Lancia. Fiat was very helpfull.

You might try furnishing the serial number of your car to Paul Mayo who keeps a fairly active registry. Fiat will not likely have anything on this, as the corporate records of Lancia USA (if they still exist within Fiat anywhere) don't cover the Aurelia period. Then, the cars were sold through Hoffman or others (Algar later for example). The records are mostly in private hands. Start with a serial number.

Thanks to generous contributors of this forum i have learnt that it was owned by Victor RICCI who bought it from WALT KOOPMAN Sr in the 60s. Unfortunatly, Victor passed away in the 90s. Since then, the car was never restored.
I know from the registro AURELIA that the aurelia was first sold to EUROPE not US.
So now i am trying to find the first US registration in order to find the European registration
Any help is appreciated.
Thank you all !!!
