Integrale 16v Head

Does any one know whether a 16v head would fit onto a 8v block ?

But it does fit!! A 16V head will even fit a Beta cylinder block.
However the fuel injection system is different so putting a 16V head in an 8V Thema is a big electrical job.
Need to use 16V type pistons or machine the 8V ones. There are a couple of oil feed holes that are best blanked off although the gasket would seal them off.
Here is a web site where a guy put a 16V head on his Fiat 124 engine - you can see that it is the older style block with the auxiliary drive shaft and no balancer shafts.

Damn it !!! I had a option of a 16v head, but let it pass. Maybe for the best though, a little early in the project timescale.
