i have a Delta 2 with the 1.6 16V engine. the engine was fitted from the previous owner. the car originally had the 1.4. I was thinking of turbocharging this engine. has anybody done it? what should i expect. are there any out of the box kits?
i am planning on 150 HP from the 100 it is now.

never heard of anyone doing this and I would guess it'll be complicated to do properly, surely better to change your car for a 1.8vvt or a 2.0 turbo if you can find one

the idea came because here in greece i read once that a dealer made this turbo mod. besides the engine is the A4000 which i believe is used in fiat bravo/brava. the easiest would be of course to buy a 2.0lt car. the thing is although i bought this cara as a cheap one i realy love it for its style. i just wish it could had more accelaration (1200kg are too heavy) thanks for the answer thought.
