Wir fahren Heute Abend von Walldorf, Baden gemütlich nach Kehl, Baden; wird Morgen extra Früh weiter nach Saint-Dié des Vosges langsam fahren, extra früh anzukommen....we are very excited

Team RWB Fulvia drove in GBG Gamma 110km from home to Kehl, DE near Strassbourg, FR in the direction of the LANCIA HERITAGE Ralley Start-Point in Saint-Dié des Vosges at a low-speed - in a well-loaded Gamma.
avoiding Friday traffic on A5 south, cruising down Bundestrasse 36 from Bruchsal to Rastatt to Kehl ... light-traffiC- warm sunlight shining in crazy BEAMS through clouds to west.........with Rainbow to east, behind which was Moon in 1/8 waning phase ! All at 1 Time !!!!!!!!!!!!! My, My, My......that was a Blessing to Witness....
After unloading many kg, we continued over Rhein into FR, still on B roads, in a much lighter GBG Gam ......... to our delight .... up & up & up....down, down, down....up .& up & up ... for quite a while...over Vosges SW of Strassbourg to St. Die. Incredible Route !!!
We were the 2d Lancia to arrive in "Pepper-Pot Restaurant" Parking-Lot in St. Die; soon welcoming lovely Lancia & lovely Lancia Teams - from many corners of Europa, many of whom drove very long distances, all arriving within 1 hour !!! Amazing !!
2x Delta Turbo 1, 1 Beta Mc, several Delta Integrale, 1 hot Delta II, 1 primaThema 8.32, various lovely Fulvia SZ's & CP's in many bright colors, Lancia manned by...among others....1x 4 person family, 1x French Lady who drives a (sponsored) S1 FSZ in Ralleys as a Hobby !!! with her daughter navigating , 1x Ital Swiss Marboro Marketing Manager - who does not smoke !!; & us...the only Team arriving from east of Rhein........... why ??
Languages spoken were mixes of English & French with a smat of NL Dutch thrown in for fun...........
Exciting - Yes !
Challenging - Yikes !
Ascents to the Heavens & More - Absolutely !
Descents to test driver skills & Lancia Brakes - Multo !!
Problems Suffered - None by no Lancia !
Well-Organized - Very !
Fun - of course !
Cultural - Oui !
Did Team GBG Gam get lost on Ralley Day !? We wished to get no Points; we got no Points !
Suffice to say that we arrived at Event from East over various high Col & various deep Val...thus we decided to not redo Day 1 AM again over partial same Route already traveled ! Instead we took a -80km Route that allowed us to smell Roses & still join the Ralley for the 3d section of Day 1 PM - over ralley-trails that we had not yet driven !!!
Yes, we both drove ....1 of us slippping & sliddding a lot, both up & downhill in the dark-forests; 1 of us much more under control - at all times !!!!!!!
We outted on Day 2, driving home on the reverse-route described above; .avoiding the tricky-mountain stuff ... paying instead to drive thru a long straight tunnel & not redriving again over the Top ...........allowing time for Wine - Shopping, Liquor-Sampling, Coffee-Drinking & enjoying another sun-flooded no-traffic Day of Gamma Motor Music.
