timing chain

Hey eveyone just a heads up,
get your timing chains checked at your next tune-up. mine broke a month ago and the repair was very costly. the pistons slammed into the valves and bent the stems to about a 60 degree angle, tore up the camshaft, and damaged the head but luckily the damage to the head and pistons were minimal. however the total cost was over 1300 euro (400 euro for work included) and this was in italy where parts a readily available. i just wanted to post this just so no one else has the same problem i did. a belt is much cheaper. take care everyone

Just a reminder, a belt should be changed every 3 years, independant of mileage, every 35000KM on a 16V, every 50000 km on a 8V, just for safety
