Glasgow 8v 'grale needing c/head work

Unread post by D2LTA »

Long time Lancia owner, first time at site.
Jonathon Crossan told me about the site after I had taken him out for a spin in the 'grale with her new 'HKS super air flow induction kit'- bit of a mouthful, what a difference by the way, much smoother and pulls much harder.
Unfortunately the head gasket has blown and it is starting to run badly.
Can anyone recommend a somebody to carry out the work in the Glasgow area which won't involve robbing a bank when the time comes to pay the bill???

I don't know anyone in Glasgow, but Carcraft in Edinburgh have been lookng after mine for 4 years. They've always been very good, and the chap who runs the place owns one and is very, very knowledgible. Carcraft were recommednded to me via the Lanca Owners Club.

His phone number is 0131 313 2223 (Robertson Avenue, off Gorgie Road)

Hi Grant,
Lindsay Rouse knows a garage which works on lots of Thema Turbos (virtually same engine). His number and e-mail address is in Viva Lancia.
BTW I'm now seriously looking for the oil filter block from an integrale engine.

Regards, Leo
