Driver seat '97 Delta HPE too high

I find that the driver seat of my HPE 1.6 16V is, even in the lowest position, about 1 inch too high. On short trips no problem, but on longer trips my legs fatigue after 30 minutes. I tried putting the seat further forward, but then I am too close to the steering wheel.
Any hints or tips?

I agree , my Dedra LS has a lower seat position than my Delta HPE! The seat appears to share some parts with Punto or Alfa 145? Have you found solution? Is recaro instalation in Turbo also too high?
