Oil Pressure Gauge

Unread post by Danny »

Does anyone know where the oil pressure guage connects at the engine end of a Delta HF ie turbo? my gauge is driving me mad. Under load it flicks irratically from one side to the other. After an oil change last weekend and checking the connectors on the engine were all pushed on ok it stopped for a couple of days.......but it started again today. The tapping is doing my head in.

Nope, don't know mate but can you tell me where the oil temperature sensor is located!?? A garage recently fitted an oil cooler for me and must have disturbed it - is it near the oil pump?
If I find any info on location of the pressure sensor I will let you know.

Cheers

Hi all,

The oil temp sender on my Thema 2.0 16vT (which is similar to the integrale unit)is located as follows.

Stand in front of the car with the bonnet open.
If you let your hand slide down the left hand side of the engine block, alnost as far as you can get your arm, behind and underneath the alternator belt, It should be under a rubber boot about 1 inch long and 1/2 inch across with a single wire coming out. Spade connector on the end.

Cheers,

Leon

As far as I can remember, the sender unit is below your oil filter housing. If you lie on your back and peer up from
underneath, it should be right in front of your nose.
