Hello to the forum!
Sorry for such a question, but what kind of oil should I put into transmission (1971, 1300s)?
And what can be advised for engine also?
Does anyone use MOTUL lubricants?
Thanks!

Re: Engine & transmission oil
This is in the engine because of relatively low oil pressure.

Using synthetic oils in an old engine could cause blocking of oil channels by pieces of loosened sludge......
In a properly revised engine it should not be a problem. (crancshaft channels cleaned)

Hi Lucas
I use castrol racing 10/60 fully synth engine oil. It may be same product. As fully synthetic I dont change every year but around 4000 miles when colour starts to go from clear to light brown. How long do you leave in the engine (you do more more km/year??). How much is this Dutch oil?? UK Castrol is c 55 euros for 4l.

Re: Engine & transmission oil
I will do some 7500 km each year with the coupe, and I think it will have to last for two years, the car is not consuming oil.
The price is the same, Kroon is a sub brand from Shell I was told.
If the oil pressure was better, I would not use the 60 variant for sure.
