Alternator replacement - tips and tricks wanted

Hi all. My alternator just broke down so I am going to replace it with a new one. My Fulvia is a Berlina S2 and in contrast to the Coupe owners, the space in the engine bay is tight or non excisting. Any tips and tricks to how to get around this without removing the cooler, the radiator grill, aircl...

Re: Membrane for heating valve - part 2

Do anyone know what valve it is that I have on my Lancia?
According to
Les Joly's Autos (www.pieces-fulvia.com)
It is not standard and that is that.

Valve head cover - very hard to remove

I am still trying to check the valve adjustment on my Fulvia 1.3. I tried last week but the head cover was completely stuck. I guess the old rubber gasket is adhering strongly to the engine suface. Any good advice before I try more "brutal" ways. I am thinking of running the engine for a w...

Membrane for heating valve - part 2

Hi again. Just received the membrane from the french supplier but to my big surprise it doesn´t fit either!!! I am very surprised and a bit frustrated now. The membranes I keep getting are ø45mm OD - the one I need is ø41mm OD - but what kind of valve do I have if it isn´t the one in all the catalog...
