Does anyone know how I can increase the power of my '81 Beta 1300?

Fit an inlet camshaft from a FIAT 105 or 125 TC and fit a pair of Twin 40 DHLA/DCOE on a suitable manifold (eg. Guy Croft) with a quality exhaust manifold (such as ANSA or CSC) these mofications should give you a useful 20BHP gain. You should strip, clean and 'blueprint' the engine before trying any of these modifications.
Don't forget to check the brakes are up to the job first!!
