the starter on my Trevi 2000 is a little lazy.
I have a starter from a dedra 2000ie
Will it fit?

I don't think it will as the Dedra is a later type reversed head engine there are differences across the board mechanically - plenty of starters available second-hand but try giving yours a good hard thump with a hammer.... technical it's not but usually effective!

Ill probably just take it off and get it serviced,
Do you think one from a fiat 132 would fit ?

Yep, should do.

I took out the starter , got it serviced, it seems to have increased power
but it still clicks and doesn't engage on occasion. its an improvement on before,
but I still not happy. Could it be the ignition switch or earthing points.
