multimedia cable for ICS

Hi,

First of all, sorry for not writing this message in Italian, since I can read it but can't write it at all.

I just built a SCART to 13-Pin DIN cable to enable the video input in the ICS non-navi by Grundig. This cable is pin to pin, there is no additional electronics to pull up the CSYNC signal.
I suppose this is only needed if the decoder can't produce a RGB signal, but this is not the case, so I guess I'm good here (correct me if I'm wrong because this might be my problem)

The DVB-T decoder I'm using as video output is setup to produce a NTSC signal and RGB output. I switch it on and I supposed that automagically the video input would change to the DVB-T decoder, but it doesn't. There is no image at all.

I haven't hacked the mini ISO connector yet for the AUX audio input as I wanted to see first the video part working. I'm just hoping this isn't needed to get video.

I've tested twice that the cable is ok. So I must be overlooking something.

Thanks for your help.

I'm sorry, but to switch the video signal Ics need a circuit that increases the voltage signal CSYNC
You can find a guide on the site www.clublybra.com: After registering, go to the "GUIDE - MULTIMEDIA" and look for the file "Lybra multimediale ICS no navi – Jackonthenet – ver2"
sorry for my bad English .....

Well, thanks a lot for your input. I guess that was misled me was the first document that didn't mention anything about the level shifting for the CSYNC signal, so I thought it wasn't needed as long as the input was a RGB NTSC signal.

Again, thanks for your help.
