I owner of a frensh HPE 1600
My standart buhes are worn, especially, my rear anti roll bar. And it's impossible to find new here.
I would like to know if somehone has heard about a production for new nylon bushes, like powerflex polybush or something like this ?
Thanks.

René,
The standard bushings are still available in the UK, you might like to try Chris Bastow at betacar (www.betacar.co.uk) as your first point of call.
Unfortunately there are no manufacturers willing to produce nylon type bushes for what is essentially a specialist market - not enough commercial gain. I have previously tried to get enough people together to form a consortium who would order enough bushes to make manufacturing worthwhile for anyone like Powerflex - but without much success to date.
If we could get - perhaps - 50 owners to agree to buy and put forward the money then it may be possible to approach a manufacturer but (ofcourse) there are differences in the rear bushings of the coupé and the HPE which makes things even more complex.....

The bushes you are thinking of are probably Polyurethane, if a good original bush is available it is possible to make a mould from it & cast your own bushes. A company called Devcon make a range of PU casting resins suitable for this.

I recently got two nylon bushes made by denby &co ferns ,Co wexford, Ireland for €20
I gave them the old ones , they removed the rubber and turned a nylon insert for it.
I collected them next day .
