Hi,

my car is a 1980 Beta Spider/Zagato 2.0. The interior light (works by pushing on the lamp lens) cannot be switched off anymore. Anybody got a clue what can be wrong and how to remove so I can at least remove the bulb?

Thanks,

JW

Dear Willem,

You need to prise it out of the headlining very carefully as the plastic may be brittle by now. Like all plastic junk it's held in by lugs moulded onto the original casing...

The problem with these is that people usually replace the bulb with a bigger wattage than standard, which tends to melt the plastic, and cause the globe holders (copper mounted in plastic) to move.

Kindest regards,
