sidedraughts and VX engines

Even more queries!!
Through the good offices of a new friend an 'overdrive' pulley is coming my way for my VX coupe. I plan on fitting this fairly quickly and possibly will be in a position to provide these for other owners at cost plus p&p - we'll see.
What I'd be keen to find out about is people fitting a sidedraught carb onto a VX (using a Guy Croft or custom manifold ). I need to have a base to work from, choke sizes, emulsion tubes, etc etc etc. All ideas and info welcome. I plan (ultimately!) to go for a fully mapped ignition system and the sidedraught replaced with a 48 throttle body - but I suspect hell will freeze over before that gets done whilst I've got a new house to decorate... Has anybody done it??
