Hi

I have a 1983 Trevi Vx (RHD) and am having difficulty sorting out the steering settings at my local wheel and tyre shop.

Apparently the alignment is OK but the camber is out which is quite a job to correct. The car wants to pull to the right.

According to the "December 1, 1982 Lancia Trevi Volumex Main Main and Servicing Instructions - sheet 8" the specs should be:

Front wheel geometry unladen Camber 1 degree plus/minus 20 secs
Caster 1 degree 25 s p/m 20 s
Toe-in 2,5 + 1mm

Rear wheel geometry unladen Camber 30secs p/m 20secs
Toe-in +2 + +5mm

I am unsure whether this is correct as I've been told that the settings should be slightly toe out. Is there any difference in the Trevi settings compared to the Beta HPE as those settings are installed in the alignment machines computer.

Any assistance will be welcomed as I do not want to go messing about with incorrect specs.

Camber is non adjustable on cars with Macpherson struts like the Beta. So if your camber is really off then you have some suspension damage somewhere. Perhaps a different measurement is wrong? I think toe can be adjusted, and possibly caster too, but I know that camber is unadjustable.
