Hi,

I am a new Thesis 3.0L Emblema 2002 owner and am still a bit lost with all the commands.

The telecommand has a fold-away key and 3 buttons. Two of them are for locking/unlocking the doors and work. The third one has a pictogram of the booth lid. I thought it would unlock the booth door, but it does not seem to do anything.

Anyone who knows how to make this work ?

Rather old topic, but I just returned to the forum after 10 years with other cars.

Have you checked the Setup menu in the Connect system? I'm not 100% sure off the top of my head, but I think the boot lid control can be activated and deactivated through Connect. Or maybe it was just the other way round, making it possible to choose whether the boot lid is unlocked when the doors are unlocked.

I assume you have tried with both keys?

BTW, a short press on the third key just unlocks the boot lid, while a longer press (1 second or so) also releases the latch and thus opens the lid. Does a longer press have any effect on your Thesis?

Try holding the button a bit longer. And the doors must be unlocked. Its very good not to misspress.
