Dear fellow Lancisti

As a new Kappa owner I find it surprisingly difficult to get spare parts for this Lancia model. It seems that many parts are out of stock and that they are not reproduced. What a shame that the Fiat cooperation does not have a more proactive spare parts strategy and thinks more about future resales of Lancia cars......

I have a specific problem getting a new air inlet hose for my Kappa 2,0 20V (145 hp) from 1996. The hose has cracked - see the attached photo - and I cant seem to get a new one (see the illustration with the spare part number).

Does anybody have an idea for how to solve this problem?

Does anybody know where I can get a new hose - I just need the one closest to the engine?

Any idea about how the hose can be repaired?

It would be a shame if I have to wreck the car simply due to a cracked hose.

I hope that somebody can help.
