Looks to be a very well-sorted series one coupe. I'm interested to see what it ends up selling for, as the starting price is about what I would expect mine to be worth, should I ever wish/need to sell it (NOT!)

Once upon a time you told me there would be a website upgrade that might make it easier to post pics here. Is that coming anytime soon? I'd love to be able to see the cars that some of these regulars on the site have, and to share pics of mine of course.

I'm out in the hinterlands of classic Italian cars - TEXAS, so I don't ever see myself getting to any of the major Lancia events on the coasts with my car. Not much ever happens of interest here, so I have to suffice with monthly club dinners and the occasional show that passes through. The website would be a great way to share.

Anyway, I'm still loving my '75 Fulvia 3, and I'm done doing anything to it for a while. The only thing left to do, should I ever have a wad of cash lying around, is to completely strip and repaint, maybe rechrome some pitting trim pieces. In the meantime, I've media blasted and acid etched all the rust I could find after stripping most of the suspect chrome. Primed with epoxy primer and did touch up with PPG Concepts two-stage paint to match. It left a few small rust-thru holes in the panels behind the front wheel wells that a show car would never abide, but I can live with them for now. It's a driver, and I intend to drive it without worrying (too much!) about the paint!

Hi Chas,

remember what Neil Young sang before he got old - "Rust Never Sleeps" = a few "little holes you can live with" become "big holes you hate" ...someday.
Although it will take a lot longer in "yehaa" Tx than it would, for example, in wet, cold Conn.

For your next vacation you can fly - not to the boring US of A E. or W. Coast, - you've been there before.

Instead to lovely Benelux, for the next "Bart/Lucas/Huib" semi-organized Fulvia Meeting !

read: loose & take-it-easy; no stress, only hi-speeds where you'd love to drive hi-speeds, great peeples, great wines, great beers, too much great foods, of course great cars & lots of scenery.

To blast around mid Europa (or France, or Italy) in a Fulvia - with Fulvia Friends - is something every Fulvisti must do.

To & in places no one has ever been before.

Surely someone will have a seat for you.

By the way, I have 2 Lancia "lady-friends" from NL who shipped their Lancia Soft Top this year to Australia - to take part in a Flavia Event !!! I hope they shipped it back to !!!

Now, that is something I would never do !!!

Thanks Johnny. I really considered coming to the September bash this past year, as I thought I'd be in the middle of a big project in the UK. Unfortunately, the economy forced my client to postpone the work. The good news, it's in the budget for '09, so maybe I'll be there this coming year!

I'm fanatic about not getting the car wet. A few puddles are unavoidable of course, but I always try to dry the car off good after driving it. Maybe between these efforts and the warm, dry Texas weather (most of the year) I'll avoid the cancer that might otherwise erupt (in Connecticutt!).

Looking forward to BeneLux next year, if I'm lucky.

Huib, Lucas & I will organise for the 5th time a balanced weekend;
balanced as in:
- some good driving (approx 650km - without route from & back home)
- on the countryside
- good hotels and some pretty-good meals
- french wine & belgian beer
- also good fun for the lady - so not only a beer-football-womenjokes-weekend

If you can't bring the Fulv/Flav; no worries, there are plenty solutions!

But we're losing it: there is a coupe on Ebay!

Is flying in and participating with a modern rent-a-car an option?

Certainly. However I expect that a Fulvia can be arranged as many of us have more than 1. Another option is joining someone with a berlina.
If Jan Freie and his dad are joining again with the Flavia berlina, there is room for 6. The front bench takes 3 and the rear bench also takes 3. I used to own that car. I remember using it to to pick up relatives from the USA from the airport. I expected 3, as it turned out my niece had picked up a chap on the trip and 4 turned up at the gate. With my wife we were 6 in the car with all the luggage in the trunk. No problem. Great fun.

my office - near Heidelberg is ca. 100km; 1 hour by train from Frankfurt Airport; which has its own train station. So does my Villagio.
I / we (the Zagato Boys) will probably be crazy & wise & happy enough to "do it again"; although we wood have to drive anuder Lance ... 3 persons can't travel much further than past "the candy-store around the corner" - inna Zagat Fulv. JohnRalph de Masi wrote:
