Fulvia Dunlop brake issue

So, I'm leaving early in the morning for an 800 mile backroad tour and during the pre-rally shake down
last night I noticed a ringing sound in the passenger side rear brake caliper. Upon inspection, the assembly appears to be slightly different from that on the driver's side. The driver's side has a cotter pin holding a pronged clip which in turn appears to hold the pad in place. The rattly side has no pin, and nowhere to insert one either - it has a flathead nail-like rivet holding the same clip in place - loosely I might add - and the pad is also loose. What's going on here?
I don't have much time after work to deal with this, and I'm not familiar with the Fulvia's Dunlop brake systems. I have the Omicron CD's and manuals etc. But really - since time is of the essence, I'm hoping to hear "it'll be fine". The brakes stop fine, pedal pressure is good, car rolls in neutral no problem (other than the jingley sounds of the little metal clip). Should I park it and take the Alfa?

Thanks in advance,
