The 1 & only "Fulvia as in Claire" - a red 6 blue S2 Zagato - actually belongs to Johnny48.
Claire & Johnny48 rode / drove in the 2007 Belgium/France Meet organized by a wonderful & professional-team of Fulvisti from Be & Nl."
Claires Fulv. Coupe has a different name...which I've forgotten.
CLAIRE---HELP PLEASE ____________
PS: To all Fulvisti in Europa: a Fulvia Meet is also planned Autumn 08.
I, Johnny48, never considered naming my Z at all, ever,; but did so anyway !
.....after the B/F Meeting.....in honour of my "able-body/mind co-pilot", who made sure I wasn't headed toward Tibet after each road-crossing.
www.verelancia.com shows the wild (& fast, I am sure) "coda-tronca" Supersport Z - in drop-dead-orange.
I had no idea verelancia is located in Wassenaar...which just happens to be the city where the "Lancia Gamma 2008 N. Europe Meeting " will take place on 26/27 Jul.
THIS IS A PLUG TO ALL N EURO GAMMISTI ( Bart included): BE THERE !!
I plan to attend, but in a Gamma Coupe, that has no "nick-name"...other than "the Gold One".
Maybe I can go to see the shop & cars of "verelancia".

Spada meant Zag to have plexi lenses, witness some photo's of early prototypes 6 series, as well as recessed contour of chromed messing headlamp surrounds in which plastic sheet could engage, meant to have a seamless(ish) flow between plexi and body. YES - LOVELY !!!
I read some where the plexi was dropped as a standard fitting because of US regulations.
USA FULVIAS (& EVERY OTHER CAR) HAD TO (still have to) HAVE SEAL-BEAM HEADLIGHTS; WHICH - FOR REASONS OF MISDIRECTED / SCATTERED LIGHT BEAM PATTERNS & GUARANTEED PLEXI - COVER INTERNAL FOGGING; WERE / ARE NOT ALLOWED ON STREET LEGAL CARS.
WITNESS THE NON-PLEXI HEADLIGHTS ON USA JAG E-TYPES & OTHER CARS WITH AERODYNAMIC FRONT DESIGNS. THIS WAS A MAJOR REASON THAT "POP-UP" HEADLIGHTS WERE INVENTED !
he recessed contour was also dropped on S2 headlamp surrounds. I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE REFFERING TO HERE; BUT I WILL REVIEW ALL THE PHOTOS I CAN FISH-UP !
In my view the plexiglass lenses really finish a Zagato S1. YES, ABSOLUTELY !
THERE WAS NO REQUIREMENT TO MEET USA LAW ON ZAGATO'S DELIVERED IN EUROPE....SO I HAVE NO IDEA WHY THE PLEXI COVERS WERE NOT OFFERED AS A "REMOVABLE" OPTION:
I hope verelanvia replies to my inquiry about fitting plexi-covers to "racoon- mask" S2 front lights.
Every Fulvia Zagato I know of, S1 or S2, needs a pair.
