umm, strange days in Fulviaville

Unread post by gamma a.i. »

I will post this msg here & under topic Fulvia; since it concerns all Lancisti & all Fulvisti, sort of.

I am beginning to work on (baby steps required) a website for "only Lancia Photos" of "Lancia of Events, John (me) & friends; those I know & those I don't. A little history as text for each car will be welcome.

Ahem....I will emphasize my own Fulvia & Gamma(s) of course. Still, I will ask my Lancia Friends (mostly Gamma & Fulvia/Flavia) to post phots & a short history of their lovely Lancia.

It will not have a forum; it will not preach, tell jokes or be updated on a daily basis.

The idea to do this "fun-thing" came from the project of marketing my S2 Fulvia Zagato 1.3S & not having any time to do anything about that project.

Also, since I owe at least 60 inquirers photos of everything, including inside of tires (tyres for some).

Also, so those who send me "funny messages" can look at this car in detail before sending more funny emails & funny follow-up messages, that make me suspicious.

No one, I tend to believe, writes emails saying words to the effect of :

"in the name of God we pray that you and all of your family are well and place belief in our trust in your kind person. We will instruct our Bank Manager to immediately send you a Security-Draft with the intent to purchase at a price higher than you are asking including a donation for your troubles with customs documents & transport arrangements at your convenience. Where is the car now stored; where is it currently visable for an inspection by a person whom we implicitly trust. There are no photos required, we believe your every word. We will arrange for an inspection & while you are here with us, bless us all, we need a much personal data concerning your personal person, your business & home address, bank details; we trust you, we request than no one else every be allowed to speak to you ever again about anything concerning all things under the sun. We will be contacting you soon for instructions. When the money is safely in your etc etc"..

It is actually rather lovely prose; somehow "funny" & "rather suspicious"; therefore I have no intention of following anyones instructions.

However, there have been numerous inquiries from various places in the world, where I tend to believe that the inquirer is the "real-deal".

Details to follow ?

well, here I am again...replying to that gine-fuy's (G.a.i.) blog above.; reporting that no1 has transfered $ to any of his hidden overseas tax.dodge (charger) yet, not that he has told anyone where these lichtensteinmontecarlocaym anislandluxbahamahongkong account may be located !

Seriously, knowing that this is not the right place to post this ?, but doing so anyway....I pose the following ?.

Since I travel as bit now & then & like to "sluff-off" body & mind-wise" while doing so, I was thinking of laboriously transcribing a few ancient Auto-Magazine "blast from the past" Fulvia articles as V.L.EnglishFulvia blogs

or is there a orocedure that can use to scan these articles & submit the entire article with photos to VL without resorting to charcoal & blunt pencil renditions, with my usual (or unusual) speeling errors ?

once again, I am online; this time as my fine-self (modesty prevails) updating the above posts:

Today arrived, by means electronic ; not by carrier bird or courier person: shortened version

J ,

How are you doing. I hope you are having a good day.

I am sorry for the late response.

I would want you to know that the check will comes very soon.
I would urge you to kindly get back to me as soon as you receive the check so i can instruct you on where to send the rest of the funds to the shipping company who will be coming for the pickup at your location.

Thanks for the patience.

M

I assume that M reads this website, or how would he/she know about my Z ?

I reply to M's email:

Hello M,

there was never a sales-price mentioned, in any currency.

The truth is that there was never a sales price mentioned, nor an offer made, nor any acceptance thereof discussed.

I enjoy reading your emails; to which I will no longer reply; as recommended by my legal-advisor.

Should a check arrive, I will take all possible steps to determine what shall be done with this check prior to depositing it..

I have faith that your intentions are honest intentions & that you look forward to owning a Italian handmade work of rare art.

If Van Gogh & Picasso works are worth millions of $.....what is the value of a handcrafted Fulvia Zagato, even a non alu, not lightweight S3 ?

Personally, I believe Fulvia Z are vastly-undervalued; but that is my opinion & may not be shared by everyone.

I have no concrete reason to doubt your sincerity; however I will take all precautions to avoid the possibility of any unpleasantry.

Regards to you, where ever you are.

don't even reply!

Check it out, he is absolutely hilarious!

On topic: I hope you find a good home for the Z.
