UK's Top Gear Magazine chose the Fulvia as # 30 (of 101) in the Contest "Sexiest Car of All Times".

Lancia Fulvia: it's an Appia with a whole load more Flavia

Clean. Taut. Simple. The 1963 Fulvia is a perfectly proportioned two-door from a time when the co-efficient of drag was a speciality night in the West End.

Designed by Antonio Fessia to replace the Appia, the Fulvia used a tricksy narrow-angle V4 from the off, but the car that really rocks is the later Rallye HF 1.6 with 132bhp. Pert. Inside it's just as frantic, with body-grappling Recaro buckets and chromed-up steering wheel. The interior's not the only thing that's frantic. The VXR's engine comes in with a mid-range bang then careers off to the redline with a lot of noise, a hint of coarseness and a heady tingle of excitement.

Original Fiat 500 was the winner !
